Revenge Is Not Always Sweet, Part Two

Hey You Wonderful People!!!

Okay, if you don’t live in the San Francisco Bay Area, don’t move here. CAAAAA-RAAAZZZY weather. Okay, last week, it was colder and windier than I’ve ever seen it here in the 40 plus years since I was born here. A truck got blown over on the San Mateo Bridge and a fishing boat lost power and got blown into the same bridge. Took them three days to pull it off because the winds were so bad. Then the winds died down and bingo—heat wave. From 48 and intense winds to mid-nineties and muggy in the span of three days. This week on Monday and Tuesday, it was 92, muggy and blistering. For us, it’s blistering because we rarely get hot weather. No one has air conditioning because we normally don’t need it. Then today? 50 freakin’ degrees and Alaska freakin’ winds. What happened to 70? I like 70. I don’t like 50 with gale force winds, nor do I like mid-nineties and muggy with no winds. I like 70’s. Which is normal. Not this blistering/freezing combo. WEIRD.

Jeez. Okie-dokie. So here we have the next installment of Revenge Isn’t Always So Sweet, or whatever I’m calling it. Anyway, it’s a Gerry and Rob story found in my new upcoming release Spank Me, I’ve Been Bad. Where you will find ALL the Gerry and Rob stories, all packed into one novel. Yay!!! I’ll let you know when it’s available, should be soon. As soon as I get done editing the damn thing… Which will hopefully be today.

So I’ll see you guys next week with another chapter of Gerry and Rob’s saga.

Hugs to you all,
Michelle

It all started at the grocery store. A woman from Gerry’s past stopped them while they shopped and chewed Gerry out. She was convinced that someone wrote a letter about her and that Gerry was in on her “humiliation.” She made a huge scene, Gerry was tactful and gracious—especially when the store manager approached them—but Rob saw a look in her eye he didn’t like. He knew that look. Outwardly, Gerry handled the situation with maturity, inwardly she plotted her childish revenge. There was some other story there Gerry wouldn’t talk about. Rob knew she wasn’t just upset over the incident, the woman had obviously crossed Gerry in the past. He wondered what would make her so upset that she’d carry a grudge with her for the last twenty-five years. He also wondered why Gerry didn’t want to talk about it.

When they’d gotten back in the car, Rob had warned his wife. “She was wrong and crazy, but you will leave her alone, you hear me?”

“Huh? What are you talking about?” Gerry had said with a very badly acted aura of innocence.

“Loretta Oblatt. You leave her alone. She was out of line, but you don’t have to get revenge on her.”

“Oh, please. She’s not worth my time.”

“I saw the look.”

“What look?” Gerry had asked.

“The look in your eye after we walked away. I know you, I know how your mind works, you won’t do anything to her.”

“Of course not, that last little incident cured me.”

“I wonder.”

“You didn’t feel my ass.”

“Oh, yes I did and it felt wonderful. Especially when it was so hot and flaming red.”

Gerry had snorted. “You annihilated my butt.”

“You deserved it. You lied to me, you put yourself—”

“—in danger, I know. I apologized, you spanked me, we’re done.”

He’d seen the reluctance in her expression, so he asked again, just to make sure. “So you won’t go after Loretta?”

“Why would I? Her life is miserable enough without my help. She’s suffering, I have no doubt.”

“Okay, good girl.”

Rob had been such an idiot to believe her. Paying him lip service, that was all she did. And while he hadn’t actually caught her in the act, he had the evidence to prove his case. Man, would she regret lying to him and pulling that horrible stunt on Loretta.

That girl was learning a lesson about him that night. He would always see through her games and lies. Always. And he would punish her for them.

Gerry was late. She’d gotten her hair done, shopped for groceries and then got stuck in traffic on the interstate. Rob would probably be home by now.

As she drove, she smiled and sighed. She’d never been happier in a relationship. Rob was a dream come true. He helped out around the house, was funny and smart and an excellent lover. Not to mention an awesome cook. A wonderful man. Well, all except for that little disciplinarian streak of his. That could go. The poor deluded man thought that a few nasty spankings would stop her from playing her revenge pranks on people. He was so wrong. She’d just gotten better at hiding her pranks, that was all. Sure he’d caught her the last time, but that was it. She’d figured it all out, how to get her revenge on people and keep it from Rob at the same time. And she was doing really well. There was no way he’d find out that she’d just gotten even with that rotten little Loretta. The bitch. She so deserved what she got.

Gerry arrived home, happy to see Rob’s car in the driveway. Maybe they’d have a little fun before dinner. When she walked in the front door, she was surprised to see Rob waiting for her in the living room. Normally, he’d be on his computer in his office.

When she saw the paddle in his hands and the look in his eye, she stopped in her tracks. Nausea overcame her. Instinctively, she dropped her purse on the floor and took off for the front door. She didn’t even make it halfway there before he grabbed her.

“And just where do you think you’re going, honey?” he said, wielding the word “honey” like a weapon.

“Uh, I forgot something in the car. The groceries, that’s what I forgot,” she said nervously, trying to shake out of his grip.

“Gerry,” he said in a deadly cold tone.

She finally looked into his eyes. The unusual teal color had turned to ice. The hard planes of his carved face seemed even more severe. The man was clearly furious with her. Her knees turned to rubber. The only thing that she’d done wrong recently was that revenge on the Loretta bitch. But how could he have found out?

She’d have to proceed cautiously. She wasn’t admitting to anything. She’d play it cool. Or as cool as she could, facing that horrible paddle. She should have found it and burned it.

Rob’s cold gaze locked with hers. “Tonight, all your shenanigans stop.”

She tried to feign innocence. “What shenanigans? All I did was shop for groceries.”

Flames shot out of his eyes. “Silence, woman! Not one more lie, I warn you or I swear, I’ll get my belt.”

Gerry suddenly realized that she was acting guilty. “What did I do?”

His mouth became a fixed line, his eyes grew even colder. “Don’t lie to me, woman. You know what you did and you still think you’re one step ahead of me, don’t you? Infuriating! What did you promise me? Huh? What? That you wouldn’t get revenge on Loretta.”

Her stomach did a flip, she wanted to puke. Her mind raced to concoct a lie, but the look in his eye told her the story. She was caught. She didn’t know how, but she’d been caught. Damn it! But she wasn’t admitting to anything.

Rob snorted. “Yes, I know all about it. I just got the credit card statement in the mail. Damn you, Gerry! Five hundred dollars for chickens? You put forty chickens in Loretta’s house for the entire week she was gone on vacation?”

Gerry sighed, her shoulders slumped. Unable to stand the look of disapproval in his eyes, she looked at the floor.

“You were damn lucky she got caught having that affair with that senator,” Rob continued. “That story of the chickens in her house was all over the national news! You watched it with me, I knew it made you happy, but I wasn’t sure why you were so giddy with delight after that story aired. Now I know why. She called the police and they did a thorough investigation. You were damned lucky you didn’t get caught. They still may catch you if they check that chicken farm. You used a stupid credit card, which is traceable.”

“They think I bought them for my farm,” she replied in a small voice.

“Is that supposed to make me happy? A lie to cover up your other lies? This is good news?”

“Well, I won’t be caught. Only you and Helen know.”

“Helen was in on it?”

“Well, I had to have help.”

“You are in more trouble with me than you ever have been. Now go over to my chair and bend yourself over.”

Michelle, for an agony aunt Gerry doesn't have much going for her, except solid leather buns.
Rob needs to push her spankings up a level or two, first the cane and than a good birching.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.

Michelle,
My butt hurts just thinking of what's coming next! I wish Rob luck, I know he's an excellent spanker but I'm betting Gerry is a better brat. Can't wait for your book to come out.

Hugs,
PK
